Why This Reference Exists
There is no current volume that lists every Holland Township household. Instead, each record answers a limited question: a county parcel card identifies title and land, a deed index identifies parties to a recorded document, and a library directory may show an earlier address. The aim is to make those boundaries clear and to point researchers toward the office, portal, library, or archive that actually keeps each record.
What the Directory Organizes
Information is arranged by the way a search begins, rather than by a claim that one source is complete.
- Address research: the By Street page uses the Ottawa parcel, GIS, and deed trail.
- Historical research: City Directories covers Kanter, Polk, Bresser, Herrick, and archive resources.
- Name verification: Resident Lookup distinguishes property, voter, court, vital, and library evidence.
- Access rules: Michigan FOIA, local records requests, statutory redactions, and custodian follow-up are identified where relevant.
Limits of Our Role
Holland Township Residents Directory is privately operated. It is not connected to Holland Charter Township, Ottawa County, the State of Michigan, a court, a library, or any records office. We cannot search a nonpublic file, certify a copy, prove that someone lives at an address, change a custodian’s data, or advise on a legal dispute.
- Only the record custodian can verify, certify, or correct its record.
- Portal availability, fees, coverage, and office procedures can change.
- Property ownership, registration, and an old address are different facts.
- Protected, sealed, or confidential material remains outside this reference.
Use the original custodian for confirmation. This private reference is not a consumer reporting agency, and its material may not be used for FCRA-regulated decisions.
